It's a bit sweet for me, lots of others I like more in the $50 range.
But, it's always fun to try new stuff

I picked up the Wild Turkey- Longbranch and was impressed with how smooth it was, straight up or with a little ice, very good. I rate it “all right, all right, all right!”

Opened up a Russell’s Reserve Single Barrel Store Pick tonight. In general, I am not a big fan of Wild Turkey products, but I do like their Russell’s Reserve.

EC Barrel Proof, Michters Cask Strength, Whistle Pig Single Barrel 10yr (Goody Goody barrel pick), OF 1910, OF 1920, Russels Reserve Rye, Russels Bourbon, Clyde Mays Bourbon, Clyde Mays Blended Whiskey, 1791 Nasa Store Pick, and Heavens Door Double Barrel

Since I can't find Blanton's to replace the bottle a friend nearly cleaned out when he visited this summer, I am looking for recommendations in that price range. I liked having the Blanton's here for visitors because many recognize the name as a "fancy" bourbon. I have tried many more I like better. Maybe I should just pour something else into the bottle LOL.

Pour JJ Bowman into the Blanton’s bottle. It’s better than Blanton’s anyway.
