Went down to the ranch this week near Villa Union and it was still very dry. Looks like what the drought did not kill the latest freeze did. Maybe some of it will come back quick but there was no green to be found anywhere on the ranch just a lot of dust.

Went down last weekend crossed eagle pass had no problems ranch was a little greener than I expected We need rain bad found some pretty good sheds.

We plan on going down next week. On a new ranch. Really excited. Hunting with a good group of guys. We put out ten protein feeders, ten corn feeders, and ten cs feeders last time down. Getting lots of pics. Time to go refill. Really enjoy reading everyone’s posts.

Got to make a trip before the heat kicked in last weekend. The brush is starting to pop back out, bucks are about 90% shed out and deer look to be in good shape overall. Praying the rains start kicking off for everyone soon. Also a heads up for anyone headed down through Nlaredo. The street thugs will try and get you to pull over between the border and the 1st light on the loop. Stay clear of that area if you have the choice. They are becoming VERY regular it seems.
