Not sure if mentioned in thread or if he still makes kt
    He still makes it.

My wife bought some Lowe's brand salsa in San Saba. It had black beans in it.
Does that mean it was no longer salsa?

us too. We make a few batches per week for a fraction of the cost of store bought.

If we do buy from the store, it is usually HEB Fresh or Julio's.

Stop in Hess Meats in Muenster and see of they have of Smoke's salsa, it is good.
I buy many jars of Tascosa when we go down for a visit in Texas.
Hell on the Red is my backup.
Up here I buy Clint's at the store.
Need More Salsa is a local product that is good, can buy it at our Framer's Market on Fridays.

This gal has a good salsa roja recipe among others on her you tube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...0MQB_SkfLU4RIT

            Great!

Any chance of her sharing the recipe with just a few friends?

still on the julios train but for you chip connoisseurs, we like the julios chips but if you have an aldi close, try the clancy's texas seasoned chips, they are even better.

i cant walk by the stupid bag without eating a handful. they are a little thick cut and the flavor is awesome.

If you have a local growers market, you can find several salsa makers selling salsa. Salsas you won’t find in the big box stores. Fun to try a bunch of different ones over the spring/summer and fall at the local growers markets.

Central Market Chile Pequin is the best salsa for breakfast tacos.

Oh, stop!! You're making me nauseous and I think I'm getting a little light headed. Yep, definitely a little woozy.
