Yes he is for real and knows his stuff. But if you look close at the John Wick movies. His acting is basically doing a 3 gun match in suit while music is playing. It is fun watching. One of the few movies where you do see mag changes.

I find his attention to tactics to be the greatest part of these movies. He's very detail oriented and insists on keeping the flow of combat in his movies as realistic as possible up to and including never exceeding magazine capacity in his shootouts. I still say the knife fight scene in his house in the first movie was one of the most realistic portrayals of how ugly and emotionally raw those fights can be. I will definitely be seeing this.

Never thought much of Keanu as every movie all I could hear is Theodore "Ted" Logan but I saw the first John Wick flick the other day, bad arse.

If you really want to be impressed dig into him giving most of his money to charities. The guy is awesome. Lives simple and is a good human.
