think I remember on here where several were putting external battery packs and solar on them. -
I've had one running on some alkaline duracells for 3 weeks, and it says 50% right now. It's taken a ton of pictures. I just threw it out with what I had on me. Going to put solars on them next time I get a chance.Comment

Y'all are really over thinking the solar part of this.. We use a set-up like this on all of our cameras that can take an external battery, its a solar panel that has it's own batteries. So far we are going along over a year on most of them with zero issues and the camera "back-up batteries" still show 100%.
