    Costco heading aids question

From previous post seems like Costco is the cheapest route to go for hearing aids. So my question is at Costco you pay for the hearing aids. Do you have a copay when you go in for adjustments or retests?
I saw an audiologist today and the ones they recommended for me are about $3900. They told me they do adjustments about every 3mo and and hearing retest are all built into that cost.
And some some places will discount the hearing aids but charge a copay for each visit.

No sure about the copay but I can tell you we got my dad costco aids and they had the best customer service, he lost one two different times and they replaced them both times for free.

Do your home work. Costco is no longer the cheapest. You can get better quality and better pricing. I purchased mine threw a Nose, Ear and Throat specialist. Not cheap either. Only went back one time to have them ajusted.i had the ones that hooked behind your ear and had a wire that went into your ear. Interested in the one that just go into your ear. If he is a veteran he may qualify for free Hearing Aides. Contact the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services for your Area .

          Costco does adjustments
and retesting, if you need it, for free. They will also clean them for free while you are shopping.

Ditto above^^ And also I believe there is a three year manufacturers warranty and if you use your Costco credit card to buy them they add two more years to your warranty. Anything goes wrong lost or wet they will fix or replace, don't ask how I know.

Got mine December of last year at Costco. I did not look anywhere else as I heard good thing about ther service and cost. I did use my HSA through insurance. I do not have. Co-pay.
Was is a good experience all around.
The sound quality is excellent and I can now hear things I guess I haven’t been able to hear for many years. Even somethings you really don’t want to hear, Like the refrigerator fan running or the small ticking rocks in the tires of your car make.
And now my wife yells at me all the time. She is having to adjust as well.

Costco will thoroughly test you and they said adjustments and cleaning are free. I have had no need to go back, yet.
They had three different styles at the Cypress Costco and I purchased the Phillips brand for a cost of about two grand.
One word note, I thought I would really like the syncing to my iPhone for phone calls but it’s not as good as I thought it would be. e interface is just not quite there on the brand I got.
Other than that, I am very satisfied with mine.

I have been wearing Costco hearing aids since 2016. My first pair were Resound (Kirkland Signature). They were great. They were $1700 in 2016.

I went in this past fall and got a new pair. The new pair are Phonak (Kirkland) and have more features than the Resound. The new Phonak (Kirkland Signature) pair was $1400.

One of the wires was getting loose on my old pair. I paid $135 to get the one with the loose wire repaired. They ended up giving a brand new pair for $135. I now have a brand new backup pair.

Here is a link to my new pair.
