I went with a leupold vx5hd in 3-15x44. It has the firedot reticle. Probably a little to much scope for the distance I’ll be shooting but I sure have been impressed with it

My little truck is a single shot, but it's pretty nifty

Its a Thompson Contender with a super 14 barrel with added break to make it 16” bought barrel as is, but its a great shooter and handy.

Wanting to build a similar setup. I'm stuck between the Bergara, the AAC 700, or a Tikka T3 Lite and cutting the barrel down. I have a Bell and Carlson stock laying around for the Tikka, so it makes it a little more appealing.

                  What do yall think?

I love this little gun. So handy and short. With the can very quiet also.
When I first got it, then after I dressed it up.

R700 SPS AAC .308 16.5". Ditched the Hogue for a Grayboe Renegade, Timney 510, and new bottom metal. Weighing around 12.8lbs. from what I can tell. Easily shooting 3/4moa with both Hornady 168gr Match and Black with a decent cross wind yesterday. Confident it will be closer to .5 with FGMM 168 or Nosler 165 and more shooting time. Pleased considered some reviews say they can be picky.

That looks awesome! If you don’t mind me asking (minus optic) how much do you have in it.

$1200-1300 probably. Traded for the gun, had the trigger, Redhawk runs specials on stock with bdm, 5rd mag, and APR bolt knob job. But really like it and would do it from scratch now that I've shot it. My original idea was to eventually use everything for a SWS integral build later but probably won't now.
