    The Last Full Measure

Went to see "The Last Full Measure" yesterday. During my time in the USAF Senior NCO Academy I chose to do an essay on William H. Pitsenbarger. At the time I have no idea who he was. What an eye opener.

The movie was well done. A Must See.

I was wondering what people would thing about it. Given that I don’t know anything about the events depicted in the movie would that matter?

I assume it’s based on a true story?

Confused here. You have/had no idea who he was, but you chose to do an essay on him?

Knew that he was awarded the MOH but after doing the research it was an eye opener.

At the time there was only two USAF Enlisted recipients of the MOH. To date there are only three USAF Enlisted.
Levitow, John L. Airman First Class, Vietnam War, 1956-1973
Pitsenbarger, William H. Airman First Class, Vietnam War, 1956-1973
                The is the third:
Chapman, John A. Technical Sergeant, Operation Enduring Freedom

Myself and my lovely and talented wife just got thru watching this.

I had to explain some things to her, at the end we both shed a tear. Powerful movie.

                      Coker, thanks for the recommendation...
