Bryan Beach Freeport ?

I am toying with trying to find the least crowded beach close to houston this weekend. Typically when not visiting Galveston my family goes to surfside but I’m pretty sure that will be a zoo this weekend.

Any insight into what to expect at Bryan beach perhaps closer to the river ?

Bryan Beach and weekend has never equaled small crowds. Tons of people, tons of garbage left behind.

Bunch of Biden voters frequent that beach on weekends and it’s a mess when they leave.

Never been an issue on July 4 weekend, we usually rent a house there for the weekend. I live about 15 minutes up the road but we’ll stay down there instead of driving back and forth. Used to have trouble when the swing bridge was there with traffic but now it’s fine. We go to the beach there a lot, especially with the mouth of the Bernard open.

x2 on Sargent. Far enough out of the way to avoid a bunch of the Galvetraz and Surfside crowd. Plus you can get dizzy driving over the new bridge
