    Sonora / Sutton County 2022

Praise the Lord!!! We got a pretty good soaking at my place last night/this morning.

Not sure exactly how much because my rain guage sprung a leak.

I’m thankful for what we got though!!!

Glad to see it rained!! Man it was dust bowl dry there last trip. Not as bad as 2011 but close IMO. Hopefully it can green up in short order and give the critters something to eat!

Looks like we got 3-4.5” at our place west of town. Definitely a blessing. Really happy for the people that live there.

                How far out ?
That area got hammered with 2-4 inch depending on location.
Up on 190 location was difference between .6-1.25

A rancher buddy of mine at Juno had about 4". I had .3" in Menard and about half an inch on the county line south of Menard.
                      Adios,

So happy it rained. I just hope it raining right before it gets hot doesn't trigger the antrax again.

Don’t think that’s a chance. We need rain for extended periods from February- April to push extensive growth. It’s been too dry for too long for that to happen now.

Congrats on the kills Bisch! Kids sports and life has been keeping us from spending much time out there this Spring. We are covered up with Axis and **** pigs. My brother went out last weekend to top off feeders and make sure they had water. He said it was bone dry. Weather station at the camp said we got 3/4" of rain. Finally enough for water to stand under the feeders.
