    Pretty sure this is a Sweet Gum? None the less, definitely the most evil of trees??

        Ah yes. I was wasnt sure. I was told Sweet gum, Just Googled Locust and looks more like a Black Locust Tree. Thanks.

          Definitely not a black locust. It is 100% a honey locust. Nothing else has those thorns

            Black Locust around this area. Honey locust more prevalent as you go East. Black Locusts actually are worse with the thorns than Honey in my experience and are one of the most prevalent growers in the black clay around north central Texas. Those thorns will go through tractor tires...
