Russian Twister Slugs

Loaded up some of these babies to test tomorrow. Three lots using 800X, Longshot, and Herco. This is best powder coating job I’ve done.

I put the slugs in a ziplock bag with some airsoft Bb’s and then put them in my brass vibrating tumbler for 15 mins. Came out so good, looks like I painted them. As always, I’ll report back with results.

Similar. That one had 3 segmented petals. This new mold has 3 up to 6.

It would be interesting to see how they would perform on a big boar hog. I've never shot a hog with a slug but I'm thinkin about giving it a go.

Well, took my son out to try these bad boys on some deer flesh. Had a nice mature doe to step out. He cocked the fire and fired. “Click”....light primer strike. Doe got spooked after that and was about to bolt, but not before I raised my .500 SW and plugged her.

Felt terrible for lil Ethan. We’ll got back out again.
