    Leupold spotting scope question

Who has one? Looking to buy a new spotting scope for mule deer/elk hunting! I like how compact the Leupold is. Deciding between the 60mm or 80mm. Seems for weight, the 60 would be better. Thoughts? Anyone have one or recommend something different with a Budget around $2k?

We have one of those and a Swaro. The Leupold is lighter weight and has great optics.
Dim light is when the Swaro shines.
80mm will take in more light for you. Ours is a 60mm and for back country pack ins it work great. Get a good stable tripod for it, cheapos vibrate and are not stable in wind.

I'll say get it over a Vortex.

Thank you! Haven’t considered the dim lighting. Appreciate the feedback.

I have one. Took it out of the package. Set it up. Looked through it. Put it in the case and under the bed.

Meaning you don’t like it or that you just don’t need / use it?

I like it well enough. I just got out of rifle hunting and long range rifle silhouette match shooting and immersed in bow hunting.
            It's very crisp and clear.

I’ve had one for over 20 years. If I needed a new spotting scope, I’d buy another one tomorrow.
