Welcome to the greatest state in the union. Sinton is a great community. Not to big, but with more folks moving down for the same reason you are property prices are not dropping at all. Especially in that area. Sinton, Portland and Calallen are some pretty sought after areas. If you love fishing your in the right place. If you love to hunt prepare for sticker shot. Its can get pricey around here for a good quality lease. Public hunts are pretty much non existent unless you get lucky and draw out down south at LAWR or Aransas. The heat can be intolerable for people who are not acclimated so start preparing for that

I agree. This is how we do it in the reel south. If you don't put beans in your chile it's just chile con carne.

I'm not originally from TX either. My wife is. I like to say I'm not from here but I married up and got here as quick as I could.

Best state in the union and the only one that doesn't need to be to survive.

              Welcome!

                  Welcome to Texas.

Eat your Chili however you like to. If anybody gives you any grief how you like your Chili, tell them to mind their own business!

Putting beans in chili makes it taco soup. Not chili

That is that krap all Toyotas easily get stuck in. Better known as a small mud puddle.

The real question is, do you cook your brisket fat side up or down?
