What is the difference between fluoro and monofilament....


I bought some spiderwire ez flouro, 8lbs. And loaded it on a spinner, ultra light rod.

Mono floats and flouro sinks. Also flouro stretches more than mono

Flouro sinks,mono doesn't. Flouro they say is invisible underwater. Mono stretches more. I think who you will have trouble with fluoro on a spinning reel because of the memory. But that's just my thoughts.
