Nope. I do mine out of whole muscle but there’s nothing wrong with ground. I typically use AC Legg peppered seasoning and some liquid smoke, or Allegros hot and spicy marinade and most of the seasonings in my cabinet
Get a dehydrator from Wally World for about $20 and get after it!
And OP.... I’m assuming you’re sending everyone a little bit to try?
