Finding out that black powder is scarcer than hens teeth nowadays. Couldn't find any in the San Antonio area. Anyone know a source? Looking for FFFF for priming a flintlock.

Graf and sons online if you're interested. 4 pound minimum + 12.50 haz mat. Been the best price I've found in a while. I need some 4F myself for priming the nipple on my side locks.

I cannot find anyone in the dfw area that wants to put up with the ATFs BS. I order my Swiss 1.5 from buffalo arms or Graf and Sons.
No one carries real gun powder anymore.Comment

I wound up ordering 4 lbs from Graf’s along with some precision caps since I already paying the hazmat charge. It must be a huge hassle for a brick and mortar store to sell it. I personally know probably the biggest powder distributor in this part of Texas and doesn’t even want to handle the headache of BP.Comment
