I have never fished Conroe but I agree with Bryan. Rayburn is a easy lake to fish and hold lots of crappie

Ran 2 trips this weekend on LOP. Fish are still hanging out in brush piles and down timber 12 to 20 foot deep

For a lake that is 75% bulkheaded just not alot of places for the to spawn and have sustainable numbers any more. Travel down the road to Rayburn. Pretty easy to find brushpiles and the 147 bridge always has fish.

I appreciate it. Rayburn is definitely on the list. Dont have much free time so the longer drive is a factor, but its pointless to go where they arent! Thinking Lake Limestone too. Never been there but its a bit closer.

Was informed we can post pics but not details or get any information! Kinda sucks to be at a lake for a week with great crappie fishermen and not talk about crappie fishing but I will fill y'all in later! Sadly this is my best crappie in 2 days. Sounds like several folks haven't boated a keeper crappie in 2 days!
