Planning on it. My wife wasn't too happy I let our oldest son watch the last one. He was pretty young and I didn't realize the language was gonna be that bad. He's almost 18 now and told me we gotta go watch it.

Yes sir ,& watch them in order. If not you will not get the true saga & details! LOL!
Also watch the Expendable series in order, so you will understand this movie. You can then realize what he went through before this Rambo movie. LOL!

The first movie means something, after that pure shoot’em up entertainment if thats your thang.

The crux of the first movie takes place as Rambo is walking down to Delmar Barry’s place, his mood and movements, and then the “change” as he finds out Delmar has passed away. He deserves the highest acting award for that moment. Many of you will NEVER understand what just happened and that is a good thing. We that do understand are glad you don’t get it.

The first movie shows the longing for brotherhood, isolation, and the armor of PTSD that many combat veterans feel to some degree.

The first one was a great movie that told a very true story that was repeated so, so many times... maybe not to the violent degree this movie portrayed, but to the degree that so many Vietnam vets went through... the rest after that, they simply jumped the shark. This one will be no different. Have absolutely no desire to watch it.

You probably only ďneedĒ to watch the first one. But a couple of the others are definitely worth your time.

First Blood - pure awesomeness. One of the best movies ever. Also the only book I ever read because I wanted too. Everything else was assigned in school or recommended by someone else. The story should have ended here. Only 1 person actually dies in the entire movie.

Part 2 - It was alright. Iíve seen it 1000 times and will still watch it again. No where near as good as the first though. Much less plot, and more cool stuff for killing bad guys. And he kills lots of em.

Part 3 - Hot Garbage. Saw it twice, canít bring myself to watch it again... ever.

Rambo - lots of bloody killing. Story line was crap, but the action was good. Definitely worth a watch... or 100.

I canít wait to see the last one. I go to maybe 3 movies a year, and this will definitely be one of them. Iím a huge Rambo fan. First Blood is one of my desert island movies for sure. And, for the record, everyone he kills has it coming in a bad way. Heck, he even lets some of the biggest turds live in the first 2.

Agreed. First Blood was a really good movie. I don't think he even killed anyone in that movie. He made a bunch of guys wish they were dead.

I think some people forget that #3 was based (loosely) on some truth as to how the Taliban came to be. Our involvement over there, training them, supplying them with stinger missiles, the Russian occupation there.....etc.
