At least they were actually ducks. We saw some woodies on the way to Sealy and I wondered how many of those and bootlips got smashed yesterday

That is a Ron Chapman pirogue. IMO is a good one man boat w dog and gear. This wasn’t my boat and personally I wouldn’t own one. Here is a pic of my pirogue.

North Texas is very hit or miss for teal. More times than not they do not stage in this area for any length of time. Just passing through. For consistent teal action during September you got to go south towards the coast. However regular season greenwings love north Texas waters.

1 shy of one man limit this AM. Was only one at ramp....Guess the GWs got those idiots shooting woodies.

Speaking of game wardens, talked to some Collin county GWs I’ve never seen today. Friendly as heck. Never anything to fear when you’re following the rules. Also saw them pole and push their boat 150yards to my spot to check me. That was a treat.

This was cottons my GSP’s first real hunt and real retrieving. Hopefully can have him be a dual threat retrieving during teal season then hunting quail. Don’t think it’s in the cards for him to be in cold water.
