If you want some incredible Italian check out la traviata on Congress. It’s killer. Eddie V’s prime seafood(swordfish steak is great.). If you want some fantastic cocktails check out the Roosevelt room. Will definitely be there again next time I’m in Austin. It’s incredible.

      Great advice on Red Ash.

I also like Roaring Fork and I haven't seen Trulucks Seafood metioned yet. Monday nights, when in season, all you can eat stone crab claws for around $75. I've put down 26 back in the day....

3x on Red Ash. It is mind-blowingly good. If you go, try the bruschetta of roasted bone marrow appetizer (not shown on the online menu, but it was on the menu at the restaurant).

Do not try to walk in or you'll wait forever, make a reservation.

Oh and if your down for good drinks, Peche around the corner is excellent.

Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ on Manchaca is a must! Not near down town, so you’ll have to make your way over there at some point.
