Right on time!! Always looking forward to this one. I think your timing is perfect. Action seemed to really pick up this weekend and should keep getting better. I’ll be back Thursday pm to hunt till I’m tagged out. Best of luck from the Angelina side my friends!

Doe & yearling just slipped thru the timber between me and the feeder pen.

We had a black squirrel here last year and haven’t seen him any this year. Figured he didn’t make it thru the freeze.
He showed up this morning. Glad to see him still around.

I’m late updating.
Met my Dad at camp @ 3:00 and got him set up in the same stand I hunted this morning.

He left his phone at camp so I’m not getting any updates.

I guess it’s FORGET day because I totally forgot about Talen’s Show Heifer validation. So I had to rush home and load up his show heifer to be tagged for Fort Worth, San Antonio, & Houston Livestock Show.

I’ll be back at camp around 6:00 and knock out a few loose ends so Dad can stay there tonight.
I’ll update as soon as I get Dad out of the stand.

We are settled in.
Got Dad back in the same box stand he hunted yesterday evening.
I’m in Talen’s stand over looking a big oak flat on the edge of a slough.

55 degrees this morning feels great. Got a SE wind working good for us.
