Here is what I do not understand......
I would have loved to see a Texas team in the top 4, even if it was the Ags. It didn't happen.

Some of you say that tOSU is terrible and should have no way got the bid, but they are only 8 pt dogs to Clemson, who some think have a chance of winning it all. Will Clemson beat their brakes off, then Alabama beat their brakes off, or is Ohio State good enough to be in the equation. It's hard to say they suck but only be 8 pts behind Clemson.

There are TOO MANY bowls games, so far this year 14 have been cancelled and I don't think thats necessarily a bad thing, there are still 28 left this year to be played, 42 bowls games is nuts. I went back and did a little research, in 1992 there were 18 bowl games total https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_N...ootball_season

They also didn’t have the wear and tear of playing 5 more games as Alabama. For example Waddle and starting center injuries.

It doesn't matter if they're good enough, they havn't played a legitimate schedule. Shouldn't be eligible, period.
