Cut a board 13.1" long. Wedge it between his beams after the kill. Let dry. He will for sure be 13" at that point.

But, I think he will make 13" without that.

Cut a 13" board, or whatever, and mount it to a feeder leg, perpendicular to the camera. Then you'll have something to judge his width by.
