Not butt hurt over it at all, most Texas fans I know aren’t happy about the rule. They think it’s stupid. My comment was about how OU “adhered” to the new rule. Did you not comprehend what I typed?

I think the rule is stupid.

ou had to adhere because of the pre-game unsportsman like penalty on both teams (which was also stupid). A Horns down would have been the 2nd unsportsman like penalty and the player sent to the locker room.

Foster couldn’t pick his arm up above his head after that hit early in the game. I’m not sure why he stayed in unless they didn’t have a replacement. He was trying to push folks out of bounds to avoid the tackle.
