    We literally just went thru the same thing. My daughter wanted one for the lake. We ended up going with an inflatable one because you can store them easily.

    We used it last weekend....solid as a rock when you inflate to 15+ psi. Very easy to deflate and store as well.

    We bought this one off amazon for just under $300.

          My wife just got herself one for Mother’s Day. Inflatable 11’6” Featherlight off Amazon for under $300.00. So far so good. I’m sure it’s entry level but plenty good for what she will be doing on it.

            I have 4 at my lakehouse rental. They are all made by lifetime. They are very heavy. I would go with inflatable for personal use.
