Seriously, am I not supposed to shoot a tagged doe? Cuz I would. I would figure it to be from a HF and got out. It’s not like the HF was ever gonna go back. Please tho, sell me on why I shouldn’t...or better yet, just educate me. Thx.

Like several have said, if that doe was tagged it was because it was a breeder doe that probably had FAR superior genetics. Killing that doe could easily be the equivalent of shooting a 5-6 bucks that were yearlings and had 150+ genetics...that doe had the potential to drop 1-2 fawns a year with improved genetics. So essentially just took 6-10 deer (accounting for mortality) with far superior genetics out of the herd just for a tag.

If you don’t care about improving the herd. No foul. Nobody can tell you what to shoot or not to shoot. It’s your place.

If you do care about improving genetics...Big time party foul lol
