does not appear to be a ribald to me. I have three piebald on my place, there from very small fawns. This one just looks lighter brown than generally thought normal. Very cool looking deer.

I think it’s just another iteration of a leucistic deer, lacking enough pigment to be a normal color but not a true albino. That considered opinion is worth exactly what y’all paid for it.

            update

I hadn't seen the white fawn lately until this evening. I got a couple of pics and he (she?) has grown. According to a very knowledgeable friend who knows whitetails, this deer is most likely a melanistic deer, as opposed to a piebald.

Anyway, please excuse the poor quality of the pics, since it was pretty low light when I took them.

              blurry

Although it is blurry, at least you can see its head. I will try to get more another day.

Leucistic, not melanistic. Melanistic deer are dark brown.

                Cool deer for sure!

That’s what I love about nature and just sitting in a stand.

Then later pics make me think it is. The first one didn't have me convinced.

Yep, I agree. I had to look up leucistic. But definitely lacking pigmentation, but not albino.
