        Settled in.
I touched up some areas we corn mid day.
Clark got here around 2:00. We discussed weather and stands over the next couple of days.
He is hunting the same set I've hunted the last 2 times. I felt like it was only fair since I've had a head start on him. I hope like hell he gets a shot at Big Bob!
I'm set up on a scrape line South of Clark, over looking a beautiful acorn flat on the edge of a field. Lots of sign here and I'm in between 2 different food sources. It's an awesome funnel and gives out an ora of big buck potential.
We've had several pics of a massive 8 point here with some trash on his brow tines. Hoping he'll make an appearance after this rain let's up.

Thanks for hanging in there with me.

          My set...
Wind has swapped to the NE.
Clark is good with any wind out of the East as am I. Click image for larger version

You know that... "It's not raining very hard. It'll slack off shortly. I'm not gonna take my perfectly functional rain suit , bought specifically for Kansas in case it rains." guy?

That's me right now. I'm that guy. SHEESH!

BUT! I was smart enough to leave my video camera in the truck. Soooo, on a positive note, I should shoot a Booner! With no video.

                  Deer are on their feet.
Doe & yearling Fed on acorns a while. Then hit the pasture headed toward Clark.
Rain has slacked off a little.

Raining pretty hard now. I'm hunkered down trying to stay dry. Gonna put my phone up.
                          I'll update after dark.
