High lung shot minimal blood but dead pig is my guess. Yes shot looked high to me. Without video I think I may have chalked it up to a bad shot. Total guess.

I think the entry was really high but due to the angle of shot you caught the off side lung. Coin toss on whether he's dead and you found him.

Lighted nock makes the shot look high but it wasn't, dead pig !

And I bet he bleed like a stuck hog.

Agree that arrow hit lower than it originally appears. Dead pig within 75 yards.

Ok some of y’all were 100 percent correct. Some saw what I thought when I saw it in person. (That I blew it)

Great blood from impact all the way to a dead pig found at 100 yards.



Arrow hit a tad high...





Caught lung. (Yotes helped with a dissection) 13” off arrow broke off in him.

I didn't see FND's post on the find (I promise) but I think the shot looks a bit high but was able to catch a lung, had a great blood trail where he found the hog. He might have found some of the arrow that broke off in him-I'd say about 13" and he might have had the coyotes move in on him before he found him.

Just my thoughts, can't wait to read his post on the find.
