    I currently have a couple of open IT positions (Sr. Network Eng. and SCCM/EndPoint Specialist) within my team. These positions will require someone that is capable of working in a fast paced environment, meet deadlines and possible lead internal projects.

    IT Technical Senior Specialist, Network and Special Services


    Job Summary
    Network Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing local and wide area networks to ensure maximum uptime for network services in the organization. The role includes designing network configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new network, and maintaining and upgrading existing networks onshore and offshore.

    Duties and Responsibilities


    Establish the networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation and defining, documenting and enforcing system standards.
    Design and implement new solutions and improve resilience of the current environment.
    Maximize network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with infrastructure, security and application teams on network optimization
    Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, and defining and monitoring access
    Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policy.
    Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects.
    Configure routing, wireless, firewalls and switching equipment.
    Provide remote support to offshore and onshore end users/customers.
    Requires broad and comprehensive expertise in leading-edge techniques and/or technologies.

    Leads design and installment of external networks.
    Liaise with project management teams, 3rd party vendors, IT vendors and internal IT TEAMs (Application, Infrastructure and Security) on a regular basis.

    Education/Experience/Skills

    Bachelor's Degree; Cisco CCNP
    At least 5 years of experience; 10 years preferred
    Routing, Switching, SD-WAN, Firewalls, SSL-VPN, Wireless, WAN Optimization, PBX, VoIP

    Senior IT Technical Infrastructure Specialist


    Job Profile Summary
    The IT Technical Senior Specialist responsible for the architecture design, implementing and managing of Microsoft’s configuration center suite to include environment patching, image creation, application packaging and process development to ensure software licensing is complaint. Will also be responsible for analyzing log files on server and workstations to determine with security patches did not get installed and develop a automate solution to remediate the security vulnerabilities.

    Job Description
    Develop system architecture and system design documentation. Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
    Design, implementation, configure and management of Automatic Deployment Rule - ADR for windows and known windows software updates. Responsible for automation, advertisement, or deployment software applications into SCCM application framework
    Deployment of security patches and applications to desktop PCs in all regions globally
    Design, configuration, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of operating system images process for endpoints including laptops, desktops and servers
    Use technical expertise in Windows, PowerShell, SCCM, SQL, and WMI as well as other enterprise applications. Identify processes that are currently being done manually and find a way to automate processes. Improve current processes for the betterment of the IT department as a whole
    Create and update interdepartmental documentation and document relevant systems to cross-train team members on new projects and supported technologies

    Sure wish I had kept my skills up to date. Been out of the IT field for too long for something like this. SMDH Wish I had stayed with the IT field versus going over to Law Enforcement.

      JP I will forward to one of my fraternity brothers that recently moved to Spring. He has a computer science degree and been in the game for 30 years consistently.

            How much does this pay for no experience. I need $150K plus a year 2 months paid time off. Company car. And a 10a-2p work schedule Tues-Thurs only

                    Let the PM group deal with that. Too much of a headache at this level.

                      PMP is not needed as this position will at times lead small internal projects. While it's good to have its not a requirement.
