Ha, all of these pics and the story to give the lead in are as good if not better than what I know is coming.

One day I will have to come visit...

Thank you for posting the story Adam.

This is a real cliff hanger.

Boom what? Did you shoot? Did you fall for the cliff? What happened?

Pretty sure that would give a strong case of stage fright

You’ll have to come up, blows doors on the hunts in the lower 48. Heck it’s fun to catch a ton of salmon.

Where was I Booom lol. I hit the nanny head on, worked the bolt and hit her again, it was over. We organized gear, climbed up to her, took some pictures and got to work. The last picture makes it look gradual in grade, but it’s steep.

The weather is getting worse, high wind snow, and limited visibility. There was a large cliff we paralleled on the way up. We noticed a small creek we noted to follow on the way out. It gave us a 100 buffer from the cliff.

LOL, that definitely looks like a steep climb, so I can only imagine how bad it was in real life, in the snow!

                  Very cool!

Coming down the mountain was more falling then climbs, once out of the snow, we were greeted by mud. After 2 hours of thorns, brush, falling we made it to the valley floor. 3 hours after that we were hanging meat by camp.

The temperature was dropping and the rain turned to snow. We ate something and crawled into our tents. It was a long night crawling into my sleeping bag soaking wet. We decided to sleep in and get up at sunup approximately 900am.

Waking up I was almost 100% dry and other then some tent condensation I was good to go. (The perk to a good synthetic bag) temps got down in the upper 20s

We were greeted with some sun, with dark clouds in the distance. So we decided to hang our gear to dry out a bit.
