Of course they decided to replace the bridge on the only decent Road into my place this week. There's another way to get in but it is Highly Questionable with the moisture we might have tonight and tomorrow. What a bummer.

Yeah, it was really about 25yds and a beautiful evening. Hope to get something to shoot in the AM. We got rain this afternoon so opener should be a nice quite morning.

I got to meet Jody about 7-8 years ago when we tracked a buck for his son. We started dark-early in the morning, and Jody had to go to work, so his son and I followed the dogs a to plum thicket less than a half mile away and found the buck. I do love that big smile, but he was a little disappointed because we got done in time for him to go to school. Superbly nice young man.

Sorry, to hear about the loss of Jody and his wife.

Close to McLean deer action has been really good this year. Seeing more buck in September then we usually do and that’s with running fewer cameras.
