Had to let our little guy go!

18 years is a great run, for a dog, but not near enough time for us.

We put our 13 year old Dachshund down three weeks ago. I know the feeling. It is still raw, and will take a long time heal. The are a special breed.

I lost my little female chihuahua the last of January this year, 16 years old almost to the day. Had her since she was 8 weeks old....lord I miss that little dog and I just can't bring myself to replacing her at this time.

One of my hardest days was letting go of my dachshund of 13.5 years. Amazing little companions even if they can be little buttheads sometimes too. Glad you got to enjoy many years with your friend, and sorry for your loss.

We lost a 19 yr old toy fox terrier this past yr. Had that dog b4 I ever had kids. Knowing they go to live a good life puts a smile on your face, and knowing they made your life good made them yours. I love dogs. Got hunting dogs now, and life is crazy once again.
