    1966 Chevy P/U

Just finished this jewel. Original one family owned classic. 64K miles and came from the factory with a lift kit($108 option). Only has a heater and radio, no A/C, barebones. Has a straight 250 c.i. 6cyl with a granny 4 speed. My buddy and I restore old Chevy and Gmc trucks as a hobby. 4wd and spent its whole life in the Texas panhandle. What you think?

That brings memories of the hay field back years ago. Y'all cleaned it up really well.
Is this a keeper or is it for sale?

It's going to be for sale. Have several interested buyers that have been following the build for the last 2 years and hoping they get in a bidding war, lol.

Wow, that does bring back memories. Way back in the 70's I had a old Ford 3/4 ton with a 4 speed manual and V8 bare bones as well but loved that old truck, just didn't have the funds to keep it as a pet so had to let it go.

I had a SWB ‘66 fleetside 2WD for a while. Mine was 3 on the tree though. Mine also had very different side mirrors that yours.

Dropped a 350ci in it and it would scream.

Just wonder how many of us remember special vehicles in our lives that pop into our minds when we see these things. I remember seeing my first Corvette Stingray in 1963 when on vacation in Colorado. Still can see it vividly like it was yesterday.

Love it! I had a 64 with that same motor in high school.

Wish I could claim some credit for this one but my buddy was the man with the plan and the wrenches. He worked his butt off. I hope I can post pics of the original truck before the build started.
