Just an idea.........
Might check, your emergency brake.......
Sometimes, they get really dirty, or gummed up, or just crud in them..
This wont allow the chain to spin freely......
And will cause it to smoke too..........

Just dropped off at the shop, so we will see what they say. I could have continued to try things but thought it would be best just to get someone that knows more to look at it.

Once running properly, how much do you think it would be worth? Thinking of selling and buying an Echo as that is what they recommended over a Stihl.
I have a Echo weedeater and blower with no problems.

I sell both lines, Husqvarna and Echo. Both are good saws. Echo is a little more $$ per cc.
Its all about the chains and fuel if you ask me. Generally Echo is a little lighter saw.

my cs-2511T sure is light and pure awesome .. unless i need to cut something really big , it does a great job ! 5.2lbs ! can't beat it
