We're directly across Miller Rd. Not to far from you at all.

              Farm Update

It was hot but we got the feeders filled again yesterday. Got plenty of pics to sort through. Thought this one was pretty cool.

That's right, Train em on that corn slinger early.

You should leave him a note with a date on it...Oct 1, 2023.

                    New stand placement...

I rebuilt my feeder pen and enlarged it last season but due to a late start I had to hunt out of a popup on a platform all season. For this season I wanted to hand a tree stand that overlooks creek bed as well as my pen but there aren't any trees straight enough to make this happen.
We had an old tripod on the property so I decided to move it over and set it up. Now I'm convinced about not being brushed in good enough (it's definitely not very tall). I took some pics from my feeders and then zoomed in.

Do y'all think this will be an issue? I'm already thinking I need to build a backdrop to blend me in. And yes, I know I need to level it as well.

I would back it deeper into the brush and cut a tunnel to access from the rear. Small shooting hole towards where you expect to get a shot. I’d move further away from the feeder and hunt hand corn as well. But that’s just personal preference.

I wanted to as well but there's a 4' drop off where it goes down to the creek.

Stick a pop up in there and brush it in real good. I wouldn’t hunt that tripod right there.

I was able to get access to hunt on a place in Fayette County this week. Planning to set up a couple spots and get cameras rolling soon. I saw 4 deer while driving around the place at 3 pm on Sunday.

                              Welcome.
Can you tell us the general area you will be hunting? Nothing specific.
