Great catch!
I had a pond about the same size once. The key to raising big bass is to keep the Bass numbers down and the bluegill numbers up. The pond can only support so many pounds of fish; so when the weight per bass goes up, then the numbers need to come down. When I sold that place, I had 5 bass in that pond. The smallest was 4.5lbs and the largest was 11.75.

Nope, working flawless for about almost a year now, running 24hrs per day.
During the cold snap, our pond was the only one that didn’t completely freeze over.

Congrats! I have a 5 acre pond that I have stocked with coppernose bluegill and redear sunfish and feed Optimal Bluegill food. I also stock 150#'s of Tilapia every year.
So far I'm just shy of 8#'s.
