We aren't looking great. I saw some pairs with chicks mid summer but not much since.

It'll be interesting. I haven't taken my dog out yet but will in the next week or two, just to see if we can come across any.

Yep. Late summer drought is killing us every year it seems. My dog is 3 and we haven't had huntable numbers yet in Fisher Co. I'll be going south and north once again.

He leads the rolling planes research ranch and has an estimate every year. He put his out in September I think... It's on the podcast

What's a quail look like? It's been to many years since I ran across one, I don't remember.

Seen 3 coveys in three days just south of Spofford this weekend. Seen thousands of doves though.
