I'll admit that I'm curious to hear what/how it happened.

I’ve read maybe half a dozen versions of the story and none have given any details. That would figure because most of the time the media only knows what is put out by the police departments. There is very little actual reporting anymore and just passing on news releases.

But yes I am curious, is this another case of a man mistaking another person for a deer? Did the father drop the rifle and the trigger hung on something and discharge?

I think at least one of the report I read said that the sheriff department receive a 911 call at 5:15pm. That would mean it is getting pretty dark in the woods. could that be a factor?

I know I would have to be put on suicide watch if going through what that dad must be going thru and I know the consequence of suicide. I can't even imagine. This is a tragedy of the worst kind. Prayers for the family.
