    I added a better pad on my bigger guns. The pad was a very noticeable reduction in felt recoil. FYI, you will have to trim the stock if you buy the biggest pad like I did.

    I don't always have hearing protection handy when I am killing pigs so I
    am not shooting any muzzle brakes.

    Low recoil ammo I have tried was accurate and effective.

      If you don't wan't to put a break on the gun just add weight. Lead in the stock would work like we used to do before breaks came out.
