Crappie Masters TV is back on! Just watched Mike Valentine put a Conroe sized stringer on Grenada! 19 pounds! Not too shabby!! Can’t wait to get back there in March! Hopefully can hit the water right again!

I ran a few trips between Christmas and New Years just to clean up those last few remaining fish. Pines is all cleaned out. Nothing left but cat fish and carp

I wish one of you gurus would come to Granbury and show me how it's done. I'd buy the beer

Unfortunately I don't have livescope. Talking to the guys that do, it just sounds like cheating. They pull up to a dock and see exactly what is under it in a few seconds then either fish or move on. Is it really that easy?

Yes it is.... One of the biggest benefits is it keeps you from fishing where there are no fish

They had the biggest limit of crappie I have ever seen! They said they caught over 100 and only kept fish over 14” and up to 16”

I am sure the cold front changed things up.
Crazy talk! They brought those fish from Conroe and cleaned em there! Palestine is dead!!!

Great message here! We used mustang survival gear that would both “keep you warm” on an airboat and would serve as flotation in case we ended up in the water. Thankfully we never put the flotation part to use other than in training.

In addition to this gear, we added a small pouch that contained two fire making devices. Wet and cold will kill you fast. Stay safe out there!

Wish everyone going out fishing tight lines and fishy smelling hands

MF the whole world. Pretty sure my brand spanking used Evinrude blew up.

                      Whatever. Can't get any worse.

Took it out to scout the giant private lake I just got access too by my new place. Fired up, weird noise, water dumping out the cowling. No more turnover. F it. I'm just going to drink now.

Dang flex I hate to hear it. Maybe a rebuild project with the kids. Will keep my eyes out for used motors.

On the bright side the creek fishing is getting hot! Probably can do some damage from the banks.

James Davis can put you on slabs on Your lake! He’s also big into those striped trash fish too! It’s a good dock lake that’s all I know.

Flex, you've had more probs with motors in the last year or two than anyone I know. Hope you can find one that works for ya brother.

I've been though quite a few used ones over the years, since 1983. Finally bought a new one in 2015. It's had a few minor issues (impeller ain't nothun, fuel lift pump during 2020 covid summer when parts were not available, clogged fuel filter). But it's been pretty dependable for the most part. It set me back a little at the time I bought it due the money it cost me, even with the dealer's discount/clearance. But well worth it.
