    Brady 8pt - Age Help

I had this guy at 4.5, but could also see him being a big bodied 3.5 year old. I definitely don’t think he is mature yet but is close. He is a feeder hog and is there all day everyday when the feeder is going off. Runs everybody off if they get too close. What are your thoughts? FYI, I have no intentions on harvesting this guy. Just curious on age.

Face looks young. I think just a fat 3yo. If he’s there all he time i would set up a protein feeder and see what he does.

3.5 needs a 2-3 years if you can.

I’d say 4 1/2. I hunt down the road so I’m used to looking at smaller bodied hill country deer. He’s fat but looks like he’s sagging just a little but in all the right places.

Since you hunt down the road, then what would you call this guy. Most were calling the 8 3.5 so I’m curious what you think of this 9.

                        I would guess the 8 at 4 and the 9 at 3

My personal guess would be 3 1/2 on the second deer. Both look like great deer that could be better with some age. Looks like your place has a good future ahead of it.
