Last week we got a call that my Grandfather had cancer. They knew it was in his prostate, but had reason to believe it had spread. He was scheduled to go in this week for further testing. As it turns out the good lord had other plans, and called him home yesterday.
My Pawpaw was the greatest of great. He served this country Korea, and served his community for over thirty five years in law enforcement. We are finding some peace knowing that he will not have to undergo any of the rough treatments.
I will miss him dearly, but the prayer request is particularly for my mother. She was extremely close to my Grandpa, and isn't taking it very well. My brothers and I are doing all we can to help, but she could sure use some prayers for peace.
