I hope my ground blind in London is still there.

I’m at a ranch between London and Menard. We we stranded, and could not get out earlier today. Hopefully, the water will recede. There is more rain in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow.

I am planning on going to the lease on Hwy 83 between menard and Eden Wednesday morning when I get off of work. With the rain tomorrow night I hope I can get in. But hell, I got to try.

Two weekends ago in Concan off 83 at the Dry Frio bridge (this is normally completely dry). I heard it had gone down this past weekend. Then I see this post from a friend earlier today

We will be up there Friday as well up off of 2291. Interesting thing about the river is that all of the rain south of town is what made the river come up. The south llano actually runs north through there so the rains don’t have to come from the north of it to make it rise. We only had 2.5 inches nw of Junction close to where we are. Pretty sure its the only river in the state that does that.
