That is funny. I have a degree in English and I taught high school English for five years.

It is a curse. My brain will not let me read anything without mentally correcting the grammar.

Ideal is an adjective.
I see more and more 'educated' experts get this wrong. They lose all credibility with me when they get it wrong.
