Question for you guys in this area. I am from Abilene and have always liked the looks of hilly country South and East of Baird between I 20 and North to Hwy 36. Do any of yall hunt that particular area? And are there good numbers of deer ? And what about the quality of deer? Thanks

A friend of mine hunted this are years ago. They only had 100 acres and always killed 140's. At that time I was super impressed with the quality and amount of deer. Having said that time gets away and that was 15 years ago.

Slow morning for us. Haven’t heard many shots either.

Had a few young bucks early. Not much movement here either.

Not a lot of deer but been a steady flow here. Both of us have had at least one deer out since before light.

Good early movement this afternoon. My boy is working on me to shoot about a 125” eight point that is front of us now.
