Pop up vs a double ladder stand

I'm kinda torn between a pop-up and a Double ladder stand, reason being my wife and 10 yr son would like to hunt with me. Problem is I'm 6' 4" and 290 lbs so I'm kinda worried about dragging them up into a ladder stand but, I'd like to get off the
Ground. Wondering what y'all do too hunt multiple people and actually making it possible to have a chance for a chance to get a buck close enough.

I have 2 double ladders. Theyelre big enough for 2 14 year olds and that's about it

If the weather is crappy, you will like the pop up more. View will be better out of the ladder stand.

A Blind would be a much better choice in my opinion and much safer. The blind will help conceal some movement and will be a lot more comfortable! As said above you can put it on a platform, you’d be surprised how much 5’ will do visibility wise.

A ground blind is great for young kids, new hunters, etc. Being able to move around a bit helps.
