Stability and money got in the way. They are always pushing the notion of academic prestige to the side as well. That used to be a big deal.

The Big 12 for all its warts has some advantages.

There’s a shift coming in college athletics.

The Big 12 is dead in 2024. It is either now or later.

SEC must be real attractive. Considering with playoff expansion, those two teams will make it every **** year if they stay in the Big 12.

You UT guys crack me up!! Y'all will bash the NBA and NFL for having a bunch of liberal, nut job, policies. Then turn right around and defend/support the biggest liberal cesspool east of the California border!! I don't get it......

For the record, I hope Texas hops on the SEC train. I miss those thanksgiving day games!

My personal opinion is it won’t be up to A&M. If the SEC wants Texas and OU they will be in no matter what the Aggies want.

Texas and OU could go Big 10, ACC, or PAC 12 pretty easily and help improve / stabilize those conferences.

I’d probably rank my landing spot as:

                  SEC
                  Big 10

                  <<<Big Gap>>>

                  ACC
PAC 12 (this would be above ACC but if not for the late night games)

What a nightmare that would be for the aggies. Can’t wait to see how this plays out. Hilarious all around.

Rumblings that Texas will inform the league they’re leaving. Gotta love the silly season. This is going to be a wild 45 days regardless of outcome.

The season is near, fellas! I’m ready for the deer woods as well.

I figure that should this move go to the official status, the SEC quickly becomes a billion dollar conference.
