That’s a stud buck! Big congrats on that one! Glad to see a dude local

My lease mate shot a nice 9pt this morning. Said he saw young bucks seriously harassing does this weekend. I guess the rut is about to bloom in Wilbarger County.

Got word from HR at work that I was exposed to someone who tested positive with CV19. 2 week RUTstriction from work. Couldn’t have happened at a better time, thanks bud. So I’ll be spending quite a bit of time in Knox and Cooke county quarantining in my popup/tree stand.

Out here in Knox county. Been a ridiculously slow morning. Nice crisp, calm morning. May go see if I can rattle one up in a minute.

The deer were moving like crazy and bucks were chasing in Throckmorton County last weekend. I came home with an unimpressive 8pt, 2 mature does, and a big coyote down. That was my only hunt there this year and I won't get to go back until next season.

3 man limit on Saturday morning and a 2 man limit on Sunday morning. Slow afternoon deer hunts but the ducks made up for it in the mornings.

How’s the rut looking, guys? I’ve had a few small bucks nose to the ground. Nothing of size yet.
